I like Eric Clapton, yes its a lovely song. The one that almost kills me is an old song called Leaning. Its about a boy whos dog has died. The choir at Scorton Lancs had a concert and a man sang it and they couldnt hear him because I was sobbing so loudly and had to be taken outside.I was about 15 at the time and had to go on and sing Jerusalem with another girl.
This was the song my daughter chose to dance with her father
at her wedding …
Her wedding got cancel… the groom got cold feet a week before the wedding …

Leaning was written by Harold Williams. But it was years ago I heard it sung.The first line is… Sowings pretty good, reaping aint so bad scaring off the crows suits a Farmers lad. Anyway it works out that he is leaning on the gate beside the field where his old dog played, and through the tree he sees his old dogs grave. Anyway I have now decided to scatter my three dogs ashes in the garden here in case they are over looked when I have joined them, at least they will do the plants some good.
