Today was a rather nice day. We had family over for a family dinner. My daughter, OH, and the two girls. We see them a few times a year but it has been less frequent with this Covids mess.
The dinner was another hit - my dear wife is a gem. Chicken, gammon, roasted pots, green beans, and some others. Then there was a home made chocolate pie. They can eat and that’s good - and that obviously pleases and appreciates the cook. Good food and just such a lovely informal atmosphere.
Then my elder grand girl and I took a stroll with the dog. She likes that. .Then we went to the a few doors up to have a wee chat with Ozzie’s mum. - and some of the choc pie.
Then, later in the evening, my wife made some pigs in blankets for a light snack. All gobbled.
