Snooker referees are too slow

Ronnie O’Sullivan claim that refs are too slow around the table is just nonsense. Judd Trump agrees the impossibility for the Rocket’s record for the fastest-ever 147 at the World Championship in 1997 can ever to be beaten.

Ronnie O’sullivan is just cruel when he’s on this kind of form, and has shown Mark Allen no mercy, and today’s session will just be a formality. Although it has to be said, Ronnie didn’t win some of the frames accredited to him, it was more a case of Mark losing them, after making some amatuer mistakes and giving Ronnie the advantage.

So with Ronnie O’sullivan and Mark Williams (almost) through to the last 8, it looks like ‘Old Guys Rule’ in this years Snooker World championships.

Neil Robertson’s maximum 147 in 1 min 47 was one of the best. All the balls straight in the pocket.

The ref had no influence on the frame, which started with a mistake by Jack Lisowski breaking off and fouling on the cue ball in/off. Ronnie O’Sullivan’s 147 was 5min 20.

The time it takes to play each frame depends entirely on how the balls break and their position. Now they have re-racks when the frame is stalemate.
