Smart phone only way to enter Optus stadium Perth

Thousands of everyday people will no longer be able to attend Optus Stadium because they do not own a smart phone.
Downloaded tickets have been scrapped. No smart phone, no entry.
Most organisations care little for senior citizens, move with the times or stand aside.
Surely it is time for those overpaid pollies to stand up for their constituents and mandate a percentage of tickets be allocated for those who want nothing to do with the all-encompassing technology.
It can be done; mandates are applied for new builds regarding affordable and social housing.
What it shows me is that senior citizens are no longer valued and a huge portion of society would rather that seniors stay locked away in their homes.

There are so many instances where smartphones are essential to be part of society.
How it has sneaked up on us…In the old days it was only my cigs, lighter and wallet I had to carry around with me…Now it’s spectacles, hearing aides, bus pass, pacemaker (implanted) and mobile phone…And no ciggies…

I don’t have one or even need one. I don’t want to be one of those people in the street walking around in circles looking at the ground. Nor to I want to be one hit by a vehicle because I was not paying attention. I want to avoid phone snatchers pinching an expensive phone I paid for.
Far better to carry a camera with a very long lens that can be used as a weapon against being attacked by the above.

After a couple of cheapo, PAYG, smartish phones, I got the bell & whistles. I absolutely love it, never had so much fun for £6/month. Calls, texts, whatsapp, audio books, music, calendar etc etc. I got rid of my landline.
