:grinning: :grinning: It does a bit come to think of it.

Cindarella , from what I already see you are a very caring person & I would suggest simply ‘be yourself’ I’m confident they will appreciate your efforts and be understanding. All will go smoothly I feel confident. :slightly_smiling_face::slightly_smiling_face: Hope you are able to just relax & enjoy the event. :slightly_smiling_face::wink:

Try Duolingo–it’s a free app and may help with some basic French. TV5Monde has some basic French exercises as well.

Hope this helps.

Un bâtiment magnifique.

@Cinderella If you consider a smattering of French “if you please” is a tad difficult, you should try a little Yiddish … aoyb ir bite or אויב איר ביטע

IMO a good grasp of the English spoken word and writing is easy in comparison :+1:

En route pour la France pour un long week-end et un mariage. Vol direct depuis Stansted.

I had a wonderful time. In France everyone has to be married at town hall, the state separates the legal part from a religious ceremony. A translator was on hand for non speaking French, then left for a blessing in church, again translated to English.
