Should I tell my family I'm looking at Funeral Plans?

Hi

It is your life and just as importantly your death.

It is your choice.

I cime from a very dysfunctional family.

I do not want my death and funeral to turn into family arguments and a disaster.

I have a Funeral Plan, Cremation, ashes in a skip and then and only then, will family be notified.

My will is very specific as well.

I rather think the word " plan" the OP means paying upfront for her funeral .
I could be wrong of course but that’s usually what it means .

I paid for mine ,.£3000 in one payment, a few years ago which I’m assured will not increase when the time comes for my cremation, the reason being I was aware funeral costs were rising all the time.

All that’s needed now on my demise is for someone to find the contract which is placed with my will , contact the undertaker and get on with it .

The point of death is “Hotting Up”, most folks want to be “Cool” about it. :icon_wink:
