A child of the sixties Minx…Love not war…
Good advice, though I think I’d put up a CCTV camera (with recording facilities).
Carol, You haven’t replied to my question of how many times a day your neighbour reverses into your drive?
I felt l can ask this question again as this is what you usually do to me!
To what end?
CCTV? Gosh, this neighbour will gloat to kingdom come when he realises how much is being spent on him and he hasn’t even caused any criminal damage!
I don’t suppose he’s given it a second thought Arty, the problem seems to be all of Carol’s making…Sorry Carol, but I just feel that there are other things more important to worry about…
Or dig a ditch across the opening, LOL !!
Donkeyman!
I can’t see my garage from the house so I don’t really know Art. I’ve witnessed it a few times & last week he left snow tracks - also we’ve seen visitors to his house using my area to reverse their cars…
How do you know he REVERSES into your drive carol??
Maybe he comes in frontwards and reverses out?
Can you see him from your lounge or kitchen windows??
Or are you guessing??
Donkeyman!
Then I wouldn’t be able to get out!!!
I am not having gates or cctv cameras or anything else.
I’m having a bollard and if it doesn’t work or he sabotages my bollard it’s hard luck but I’ll get over it.
He will rely on my son’s car park to do his manoeuvers so I hope he might see sense & leave me alone. Ady could easily closed the gates and then bully boy wouldn’t have anywhere…
It’s been a good discussion. Thank you.
From the way his car is positioned in front of his house I would say you’re correct. He probably comes in frontwards and reverses out.
Why do you ask this? Could it be of any possible importance?
Maybe the devil is in the detail.
TBH, ain’t got a Scooby Doo.

All the best to you, Carol and l hope you get some respite from your neighbour.
In a way, I can appreciate your feelings.
No-one likes to feel bullied.
Thank you Art.
Thank you JBR.
Interestingly enough if anyone were to park their car on your drive the only recourse you would have would be in a civil court which would take mucho time and mucho gelt. The police could take no action, nor would they
As for putting up a bollard — why bother? Using your bit of drive to turn round is costing you zilch so why be nasty?
Because it looks like your road is a dead end carol, and using your
sons bit to turn could cause a problem if the driver got too near
the fence at the end before he reverses??
I also asked if you could see anyone entering your drive from your
lounge or kitchen windows as if you can, then it might influence
your attitude to the fact that someone is using your driveway??
Whereas if you can't see them then you wouldn't know and therefore
would not get upset??
Good luck with your decision, l hope it turns out well for you !!
