Donna was a hard hearted woman who wanted to hurt others with her passing ,
Edit to say , Duncan had told Jimmy what Donna wanted him to do , and Jimmy tried to tell him not to follow through earleir in the episode

If only Duncan hadn’t posted that letter. That new woman who seems to be in total charge, even Jimmy has to bow to her, I don’t like her, didn’t from episode one, too full of self importance. She needs to learn island ways or begger off back to the Mainland.
I have that on DVD - it is brilliant!
Have never seen the TV series - but have read the books - they are excellent.
