Unfortunately your link doesn’t work, the ‘www.’ before ‘http://’ is not needed.
Try this one instead, I’ve checked it and it does work.
and it’s a lovely website, fab photos.
Wow! Super shop, what a shame it’s so far from me.
Been there its really good. You can take dogs but only into the garden.
Sorry the link is wrong!
Must be because I’m a technology phobe! Lol.
Still having trouble typing on my phone with one finger! Lol…
Only 10 miles away from me! Never hesrd about it till tiday!
what a great place. I could easily spend a day there looking at books and drinking flat whites.
That cafe’ is worth a visit by the look of it…Do they sell books as well…? :surprised:
It looks a lovely place … unfortunately too far away for me
Mags, that sounds similar to The Book Barn in Hallatrow, over 1 million books! Not far from Bristol.
It’s fabulous, lots of books for £1 each and a lovely cafe.
Thanks Tess, I didn’t know about that one and as you say, it’s not too far away.
I’ll keep that in mind
Very interesting, but also both too far away for me.
So what is the first largest secondhand book store in the UK?
Barter Books
Been there too about 10 years ago. It was the largest then and think it has to still be up there now.
Barter Books Alnwick, Northumberland
Wow - that is my kind of shop! I wish they were nearer to me - second thoughts - best not - I might move in!:-D:-D
Thanks for these links guys. This is the on-line bookshop we’ve used recently: www.worldofbooks.co.uk
I’ll put the Astley shop on my to do list for when The Pestilence is over
