Isn’t ageing attributed to cell renewal and the cell’s inability to create a perfect copy over time?
Like making multiple copies of a cassette tape. Each recording loses a bit more sharpness each time it’s copied…

Oh Dear.

I agree, we need ways to shorten human life if we stand any kind of chance on this planet.

Foxy, we have a meeting of minds, all this dabbling, we want to extend Human life when so many folks look so miserable., more time for Grumpiness.

All these universities have to justify their sponsors and eye watering fees Spitty.

I know but what the heck, these scientists probably won’t have to live with the results of the research

That is just not true. The human population will decline naturally in something like 50 years anyway as the birthrate falls below replacement numbers. It already has in most of Europe,

China is in big trouble as it population declines and ages. In a 100 years Italy will have a population one fifth its current number unless it embarks on an unprecedented immigration program

Well how come they are building so many houses around here Bruce?

You missed the bit which said ,“in something like 50 years”, then you will be able to pick up those houses at knockdown prices. Something to look forward to.

The scientists must have been femail so they have more time to chat

They’ve already made a start with ‘Assisted Dying’ and next it will be ‘compulsory dying’ (remember Logan’s Run?) and over fifties forums will be a thing of the past…
:open_mouth:

It’s the demographics Foxy
