Just went to prep some potatoes for tomorrow. Inspite of the fact they are stored in blackout bags in a cool place the rebellious little so-and-sos had decided to sprout. It was quite scary - putting a hand into the bag and drawing out something that looked like it belonged on Planet Zod 
Well … if they thought it would save them from being cooked - they were wrong!

ST I put one like that in the ground in the Spring and had a bumper harvest. I’ve also tried it with a sweet potato and it’s grown luxuriant and impressive foliage, not sure yet whether any sweet potato crop under the ground but will see once it starts yellowing. At the moment it just looks amazing. Very exotic and a real climber.
