I had a problem placing an order this morning. Sorted out a time slot for delivery - this had to be secured by checking out before midday. One of the vouchers/coupons attached to the order had expired - so it would not check out. Could not find a way to delete the voucher - tried every which way - even deleted the item it referred to from my trolly - still would not let me check out. Concerned I might lose my delivery slot I telephoned the ‘helpline’ . After listening to the usual ‘press this/press that’ rubbish there came a lovely lilting Scottish voice - an actual person!! Explained problem - answered two ‘security’ questions - problem solved in seconds and an email sent to confirm the order had checked out. Thank you Sainsbury’s!

Isn’t it a joy when we finally get to speak to someone who is actually helpful, Tabs.

It certainly is! She was lovely - have said so on their ‘feed back’ form.
How good of them to make the effort to enable you to give them your money more easily.
Not that you are cynical or anything!

I’ve always found Sainsbury’s very helpful in all departments and their staff in my local superstore are extemporary with everything they do for their customers; unlike Lidl who are too busy to listen.

I must say, I always seem to find Lidl staff extremely stressed, when I ask them a question, maybe they are over worked.
