In the Dominion case, Rupert Murdoch admitted that he knew that Fox hosts were lying about election fraud.
Murdoch always hated Trump but was forced to go along with the lies or Murdoch would lose his viewer base and the network along with it.
Asked during the deposition whether it is fair to say that he âseriously doubted any claim of massive election fraud,â Murdoch said, âOh, yesâ and conceded that he doubted false narratives around election fraud from the beginning.
Murdoch said he regrets the decision to continue letting Fox News personalities peddle election falsehoods. "I would have liked us to be stronger in denouncing it, in hindsight,â he said.
According to the documents, Murdoch provided former President Trumpâs son-in-law and senior adviser, Jared Kushner, âwith Fox confidential information about Bidenâs ads, along with debate strategyâ but wouldnât help the Trump campaign on election night when Fox News became the first network to declare that President Biden won Arizona.

Tucker Carlson said he passionately hated Trump, all while praising everything he did.
21% of Fox News viewers trust the network less since the Dominion trial brought to light that the broadcasters donât believe the things theyâre saying on the newscast.
I donât think people mind being lied to if it comes from their side.

Generally true, I would guess. But at least 21% of them are less trusting than they were before. Thatâs actually more than I thought there would be.
