Rhino Run video

The three posts that Bruce has shown - 3 in 5 days - are quite clearly showing the views RS.

Post views every 1000 views, so what is your problem? Maybe if you posted your videos and let us all see how many viewings you get? so come on make an effort, don’t be shy I won’t do video bashing on what you put up. Infact I may somehow be able to give a couple of tips I have learnt. You claim to be interested in photography so why not expand the interest into doing and showing videos on here.

Pity we don’t have a video heading as there is for photographs

No video bashing here RS. In fact I agree with you that a video section, same as for photos, would be a good thing. I would enjoy watching interesting videos, and I’m sure many other members would. What I’m not particularly interested in seeing is regular self promotion of the same video which, it is probably safe to say, every OFC member has watched at least once by now.

wrong it is not for self promotion I post to keep a record of the views over a time. for me I can do now a monthy or yeary check. Again where are your videos???

Please stop asking us to do videos.
Perhaps this is why there is no video section on the forum, because nobody enjoys making videos?

or possible doesn’t know how to? there is one easy answer and that is not to look at this thread then. it would make a change for members not to be so anti . you won’t find me picture bashing on making cards or even commenting on them because i am not interested yet posts keep appearing on them or on drawings.
So why not the same here? if your not interested then don’t look

Seriously? You think people don’t know how to make videos? With millions of smartphone users which have video facilities?

I honestly don’t know why you keep exhorting members to upload videos. You don’t seem to be understanding that it is not your video that is the problem, but the continual reports of YT views. You say this is so you can keep a record. Do you not have any other, personal methods of record keeping? On your smartphone or computer for example?

Why do you keep looking then?

Well, probably because I see the thread has been updated (it appears towards the top of the ‘latest’ threads list), so I automatically open it to see what’s been added.

But yes, you are right. Why the heck do I keep looking? :woman_shrugging:

So you can celebrate the Rhino, Sheba!

Thank you @PixieKnuckles, that’s most kind. Rotating nailbrushes is somewhat niche.

Now that is interesting! I wonder why that is? Must be some aerodynamics expert on here who could explain it to us. Or maybe it’s not aerodynamics, but something else - who knows?

Thank you @Bathsheba, I thought it was intriguing, will have to try it with a different kind of nailbrush, perhaps a wooden one would have different results.

You could try it with all sorts of brushes - shoe brushes, toothbrushes, hairbrushes. Endless fun!

I was just thinking: if it’s always the bristles that go under the water, this little unknown rule of physics could very well be a lifesaver for a hedgehog that found itself accidentally in a pond  :hedgehog: :hedgehog: :hedgehog:

Sadly I don’t think this is the case. As children my sister and I often used to dig holes in the garden to reach Australia, and one day, after heavy rain, my sister saw something floating in her hole It turned out to be the body of a dearly departed hedgehog. We filled in the hole, held a little service, marked the grave and neither of us ever dug anymore holes.
