They have the ā€œYear of the Kangarooā€ (they just aren’t very good at drawing tails)

Just saw this and made me laugh Pixie!

surely you have the tech skills to edit these into roos Bruce? That would be too funny. (no offence RS)

Somewhere I have a photo, taken in foreign parts, of a statue of a Chinese kangaroo with a fluffy tail in a line up of the Chinese Zodiac.

Where was the video filmed? Any chance you could go back there and do an update for 2022?

It was at Chester zoo .it would take at least a day to get there from East Sussex by which time the place would be shut for the night.

You don’t have to walk there.

How would you suggest? go by train ? first catch a bus into Brighton for direct fast like to london. go across london to catch another train heading north, then no doubt another bus ride at the other end .???
5 hours by car

train via ashford and having to get o Ashford first
5h 41m • Ā£90 - Ā£310

SECOND CHEAPEST

Train, bus

9h 59m • Ā£40 - Ā£90

and that is just for 1 person

SO 5 hrs min to get there and the same back Total 10++ Hours of daylight. What are we supposed to do? see them by torchlight

I am merely suggesting that you don’t walk, how you do it is entirely up to you. (or move somewhere without ridiculous transport costs - I wouldn’t pay that much to fly the 1000km to Melbourne)

Or you could make a bit of a break of it for you and the missus, drive up to Chester book, into a motel for a couple of nights, take in the zoo, explore Liverpool, visit The Beatle’s birthplace, take a ferry across the Mersey.

Treat yourself to video exploration. Have a bit of fun, take a break from cleaning gutters and sweeping up leaves. The world is your oyster (or in this case your rhino)

I just checked to see if the zoo had a webcam - sometimes you can view sections of a zoo remotely…sadly not in this case.

This sounds quite fun - a break is a good idea. :+1:

And he could video it.

Yes he could…imagine the views he would get from it! Especially with the zebra crossing on the Beatles album!

Zebras…Rhino…geddit? :joy:

No, ok…

good idea but first the dog would have to go into kennels, also saving hard for a very very expensive holiday next year so don’t want to dip into the holiday fund. third and most important I will not have a camcorder just yet, got to sell my Sony FDR-AX53 first, it is on sale on ebay at this very moment by my son in Brighton.
