Death is the greatest unsolved mystery in the World.
The World is changing, we have many more elderly people who have the time now to think about it.
Our current knowledge is that we simply do not know.
It is comforting to think that we do not simply blink out of existence.
Religion will continue.

People are free to believe or not - personally I do believe in God. Someone once said that for those who believe no proof is necessary and for those who donât no proof would be enough.
I found a great comfort in my belief when awaiting a serious operation, I was terrified and actually shaking with fear, I prayed, not to be cured but to have the strength and courage to face what was to come. I immediately felt a deep sense of calmness descend. I am sure there will be those who will say this was my own mind at work, and I respect that opinion, but I believe it was God answering my prayer.
There is nothing wrong with religion as long as it is kept to onself. Trying to force others to believe something different is how wars are started
Beware those who think they are intellectually above religion and throw all their eggs into the science or political ideology basket. Too often, a few extreme nefarious adherents are just as dogmatic about their beliefs and believe they are ârightâ to the point of forcing social and political change on others.
