R.I.P. Bernard Cribbins

I remember listening to Right said Fred on the radio when I was a kid.
I think it was a bit of a favourite on Junior Choice but it was such a long time ago my memory could be playing tricks on me.

Ahh!! Bernard Cribbins. Of course I don’t know him, but he seemed to be such a lovely, gentle man with a natural talent for story telling and acting. I never saw him in something I didn’t like. He has been around for so long and will be sadly missed.

That’s sad, he always seemed such a nice bloke.
He made it to a good age at 93 though.
RIP

I loved him as Perks the Station Master in The Railway children (Daddy, my Daddy - sob)

So sad to hear this… he seemed such a lovely talented cheeky chappie RIP Bernard

A great shame - he seemed to be an excellent bloke and was well respected and liked by many (including me). He was a great storyteller on Jackanory and a natural for children’s TV.

Such a lovely gentle man, he will be missed by many.

RIP Bernard
