At last I manages to find the a correct spare plate plate fror my manfrotto Befreelive tripod with the MVH400AH head
If you need another quick release plate I had to search everywhere to find the right one. The plate is actually the
“Manfrotto 501PL Rapid Connect Sliding Plate” to save having to look to try .and find the right one…
so now I can swap the camcorder to Nikon camera in seconds against having to remove the plate from one and place on the other taking several minuits
I suspect if money was no object your house would be full of that sort of stuff 
Sue would stop me and she is the boss

as shown above, being able to swap cameras is so much easier now in only about 19 seconds
@realspeed Think of how much space you will be saving when the latest ‘invention’ in cameras comes into reality. This should be interesting to say the least:

I guess you could always tell everyone you’ve lost your contact lens!
