Question about video sound

My seem a bit strange this question but I would like members opinion, even if into video making or not.
If when making a video, even for home use only, which do you prefer?
A= the original sound track
B= or one with music overlay and the original removed
C= no sound at all

Obviously a lot depends on how good the original, if any, the sound is. Personally If at all possible, I like to leave the original sound track as I consider it as part of a video

I enjoy watching videos with the original sound tracks, unless it’s a sporting event and the crowd noise is simply too loud.

I like to hear comments in the seat beside you if at a school concert, play, or general auditorium.

But then, just my own preferences.

I must have missed this before.

Definitely not “C” we aren’t using Super 8 film stock are we?

“A” depends on the original sound quality especially if there is wind noise and whether it adds to the scene. “B” is probably ideal judging by the more professional content creators on Youtube.

Sometimes the original sound is so crap that music alone is the only solution.

But really for home use only I guess none of it matters does it?
