Prisoners early release

Our delightful Prime Minister Keir Starmer looks as if he has been playing too much monopoly. Commit a crime and go to jail, but where his version differs is you don’t miss 3 goes but only serve a fraction of the sentence given.
Seems to me it pays to do a criminal act and have a holiday with free food- accomodation etc and let the tax payers pay for it. After all you won’t be there that long according to M. Starmer.
So prison looks more like a holiday camp than a place to reflect on the crime one has committed . Poor little darlings in prison don’t or not allowed to cuddle up together in one cell and “hot bed” as in how it used to be in the navy.

has he given any though about building a huge prison in some remote island say off Scotland where escape is impossible? NO and I wonder why?

Some of the early released prisoners have said they are now Labour voters for life!

Until they find themselves back in again for breaking their release licence.
Some have even openly admitted they won’t be able to survive outside.

I don’t think gaol is that much like a holiday, even on cruises you are allowed out of your cell occasionally but then again…

And where are the ones that have nowhere to go end up.
They will break the law in some way shape or form and end up back inside.
A stupid idea imo.

And just for for the sake of discussion let’s say they reoffend? Surely they are subject to the law and the cycle starts all over again in an awful snowball kind of way?

I think one has already re-offended Brokenvows… :009:
