It appears that useless parasite Andrea wants his bodyguards back ( ie back paid for by the taxpayer ) only £3 million per annum .
What an inflated sense of entitlement besides which, who wants to harm him ?

I’m sure I read or heard somewhere Andrew had asked Charles to restore his military affiliations.

People look at Princess Anne through rose-tinted spectacles nowadays but, in her youth, she was a most disagreeable person:
IIRC, she had to have a personality “makeover” …

Being brought up in that unhealthy over privileged cosseted lifestyle , you’d definitely blow hot and cold or go off your rocker as many already have .

It was not Princess Anne who changed - it was the media representation of her which changed.
I remember seeing a former newspaper photographer in a documentary explaining that the Editor of the Newspaper he worked for had instructed his journalists and photographers to look for every opportunity to take photos or present news items which showed Princess Anne in a negative light - the result was a concerted attempt to annoy Anne, which resulted in a whole heap of negative stories and photos of Princess Anne looking and sounding bad-tempered.
At some point in this photographer’s career, the Boss called him in and told him they had decided to “lay off” Princess Anne - and focus on a new target in the Royal Family.
After that, the media started reporting activities relating to Princess Anne in a more sympathetic and supportive manner.
What this photographer said in the documentary just confirmed my opinion, based on observation, that the media love to have a “villain” and a “Saint” within the Royal Family and shamelessly look for stories and twist everything to fit this narrative and play the “bad guy” off against the “good guy”
Nah the sad truth is P A was just as entitled as the rest of them and rude to boot.
She has mellowed with age and has some common sense which makes her seem brighter than the male members of the family .
She’s not exactly a warm and attractive woman! But she does seem to have come out of being a Royal relatively unscathed and without getting into too much trouble, unlike Harry, Andrew and Princess Margaret
They all despise us really, and why wouldn’t they, we let them take us for suckers
nobody needs a royal family they are just pretend toys that have broken and are too expensive to fix anyway
They look too old to be teens.
I thought when the queen died was a good time to consider if we needed a royal family in the way we have them now… it hasn’t happened so I think we will see a slow and painful demise.
I’ve always been a bit of a royalist but not at any cost…even I can see the need for radical change.
Of course we shouldn’t pay for Andrews bodyguards …thats just ridiculous.
