Sure. That’s affordable these days. Back in the 90s, though, I couldn’t attend a Chris de Burgh concert on a lovely late summer evening as £50 was too high a price. I still regret that immensely.
Just booked to see Leo Sayer .
£49 which is reasonable by todays standards…
Now do I splash out for Suzi Quatro when tickets go on sale tomorrow?
I used to like Leo Sayer Furry, didn’t know he was still doing the rounds…
Best song…‘Moonlighting’
Yeah…a good one…mines Orchard Road.
He should do both those.
Depends if you still feel like dancing;)
Leo Sayer lives near me on the Southern Highlands of NSW. I have seen him a few times at free Seniors’ Concerts. He does occasional club gigs here too.
He is well into his 70s
As are most artists from our youth…if not older.
Suzi Quatro tickets go on sale today.
She is 73 I think.
I have just returned from a production of Evita
Cost me £12.
Admittedly by my local Youth Theatre but it could have been professional actors on stage.
They were that good.
Theatre sold out.
So I’ve booked for a production of The Addams Family Musical in November at the same venue.
By a theatre company that have been going 52 years.
Just £17.
Some things are really cheap.
