Premium Bonds - have you won anything?

4 x 25 this month

2 x 25 for me this month

1 x £25 for November…

Total since January 2018…£525.00

Just one month left until I know my two year total prize fund!

£25 this month £200 total for the year so far

Just worked out that I have won £525 this year which works out about 1% pa

About the same as my annual percentage leading me to conclude that you hold just about double my holding of bonds!

Better than most Instant access isa’s

Have had a return of £675 on a holding of just over £40k

Just before my wife died 13 years ago she gave my daughter a £1k bond a few years later I brought a 1k bond.

She has had 3 £25 wins in that time

3 x£25 this month Yippe

Same here Galty

2 x £25 here…

Total winnings this year is £775.

An interest return of just under 2% with my holding of41K.

Interest on my old ISA was .08 Percent

Nope, nothing again for me.

Just the £25 win for December.

That’s £550 since Jan 2018

£300 in 2018 and £250 in 2019 on a 21K holding.

So that’s about 1.42%and 1.2% respectively

So not great but with the chance to win a big prize every month I like keeping Premium bonds!

About as good as, if not slightly better than, most Cash ISA’s

~We haven’t won anything at all this year, we used to at least the odd 25quid, I’m hoping they are saving it up for a big one

Nuffin again… tuts

£100 for the Fox…:038::038::038::mini::mini::mini:

Thought buying premium bonds looked useful.

Then read Martin Lewis analysis:-

Is the investor protected against a falling value of his pound?

Yes but what to do ?
Savings rates are rubbish and equities are risky .
If we had a Crystal ball they would have been ok .

Ie take JD Sports .
£1000 pounds invested in its shares in 2010 would be worth £32000 today !

£50 this month

Nil here
