I have just received an email supposedly from EE Digital Voice claiming I have missed a message from one of my contacts and to click on the link. As far as I am aware EE Digital does not send emails like this. This seems like a new scam to me so just thought I would warn everyone – I have reported it to EE

You can’t be too careful. I’m with EE and I’ve never received a message like that.
They are getting altogether too clever nowadays … and they try to tell us the digital age makes life easier and safer.

Received a reply from EE - they said they would never send an email asking you to click om a link

I get lots of missed call messages on my phone and displaying unknown numbers but my phone has never rung. Obviously I never ring them back I just delete them.
By introducing credit and debit cards, internet banking and mobile phones that store everything from a conversation you had with your husband/wife last night to your knicker size, it strikes me that with all this new technology we have just invented a thousand new ways to steal our money Morty…Of course if you pay to have the latest scam busting technology installed, you just give your money away to somebody else who’s supposed to be legal…
