Mmmmn, Mrs S has been behaving a bit surreptitiously of late

Things will be back to normal in no time

how long is “no time” in this day and age, that is, and what does day and age mean

Not sure Max, I opted out of over thinking a while ago, it absorbed so much time , waiting for third party insurance :innocent:

keep third parties off the spreadsheets, they don’t deserve it

Mrs S says, “When are we away again”, I say “You know where the spreadsheet is, look at it”

For Mrs S’s eyes only

Never put your spreadsheets in the cloud!!!

Spitty’s not a Happy Camper, first reason self inflicted

Never book on a site on a Bank Holiday, forgot this weekend was a Bank Holiday when it was booked

Second Reason, I won’t mention the organization concerned but these are two of their rules which both were broken

Pre booking of specific pitches is forbidden and minimum distance between units is 6 metres primarily for fire risk but secondly for privacy. Upon arrival I noticed the pitch we had last time was free and right next to the utility block, and is positioned such that there are no grass camping pitches close so I requeted that one, I was told it was already booked to be near the utility area. Strange thought I, it must be an arrangement with a disabled person who has limited mobility so I let that go. We then selected the next nearest pitch which backed on to a grassy area, but no occupants at that moment in time. After we connected up, the folks who Pre-Booked our original choice of pitch rolled up, a couple of extremely fit thirty somethings, not a hint of a mobility issue, so that got a bit annoying, the on Saturday around 3.00pm the second rule was broken, a family were guided to the grass behind us, at a distance of about four metres away see photo

Suffice to say, the umbrella organization will be getting a communication from Moi asking them to clarify their position on the implementation of these rules.

A great time was had out in the hills though, I always feel a bit guilty, the assistance you get from the Kalkhoff makes you not realise the steepness on some of the inclines, I passed a few of the Lycra Clad Lads, who were out of the saddle, rocking furiously from side to side, too old now to get to the summit all sweaty

love the blue colour

Just upgrade and have done with it.

Yes, I’m searching for luxury Mohoing, it would suit me to be in the middle of a field, on ones lonesome, off grid but, with TV reception and WIFI

Just booked this weekend, there will be no such considerations :grinning:

Ouch!!! That bike seat

Yes, that seat would not be “Farmer Giles” friendly

Lovely peaceful weekend this time, not like the rigors of last week.

They used to be called Cheese Cutters. So many were lost and never to be seen again.

Happiness is an uninterrupted view.
