The 6th and final series of Peaky Blinders started last night on BBC1. Excellent first episode

Didn’t even watch 5 minutes as it looked like I should of watched the previous series which I gave up on because of the extremely weak storyline in my opinion.
Now then, Peaky Blinders .
Haven’t started watching this final series,
But is it only me or does the lead character can’t remember his name Mumble his lines.
In the last series all I could hear was him ‘mumbling’ whilst speaking the accent which you would expect. But, mumbling made it sound not clear.

I wish I had watched the last programme of the series before this latest one. It’s been 3 years since then, and there seemed to be a recap at the start of this new one, which was confusing, as I could’nt remember what had happened previously. Looks just as good as ever.
I liked the first series, and part of the second but haven’t really been following since then.
He does to a certain extent, doesn’t he (his name is Tommy Shelby BTW)? I don’t have any trouble understanding what he says.
