I see that the disgraced ex-MP Owen Paterson suddenly thinks that the European Court of Human Rights is a great thing. He has previously been clear that he wanted the UK to withdraw or not recognise the ECHR. Now that he sees a chance of suing the UK Government he seems to like it a lot more. Mr P, what about the possibility of being paid damages made you change your mind about the ECHR?
