Good evening everybody. Terrible news about the fire in London. Met up with some friends here today for lunch. Jac do you remember River Lady she is through here for a few days with one of her friends.
Been out all day so didn’t hear of the fire until late afternoon. It seems to be one disaster after another atm.
Rob’s 53rd birthday today, Joy and the little boys came over this afternoon and we had tea and cake. We have loads of Maltesers - enough to keep us going for weeks.!

If I find the hwyl I might do a bit in the garden but at the moment my get up and go has gone.
I was talking with my next door neighbour this morning about how we would get out in a fire . We are 4 floors up in the front but can get out to ground level through a walkway out the back . Makes you think. My daughter told me that the high rise flats in town have just been done up with what looks like the same type of cladding .
I thought it was lovely to see the Queen and William talking to some of the people , puts Teresa May to shame .

Had an early start this morning before it gets too hot.Took Sweet Williams to my parents grave.My Dad loved these flowers so they were special to put on the grave for Father’s Day tomorrow.
Planning to sit out under the parasol later.

Lovely early morning walk. Wild roses and honeysuckle all over the hedges - and a lamb with its head stuck in the fence! (Rang the farmer when I got back)! Off to Church later and then to late lunch with youngest son. Keep cool everyone - would love to be paddling at Caswell this evening…

Ventured into Swansea to meet a friend this morning,was glad to come home to cool off.
Rob and I are hiding in the front of the house (faces North) with all doors and windows open. Went to the garage in Talgarth this morning to get the air-con on his truck fixed - nice journey home!

My eldest G/Daughter won an award this week . It was for people who have been on the wrong path (and she was) who have turned their live around (and she has ) so I’m pleased for her and my poor daughter who she put through hell xx
