Went out to lunch yesterday for Chris’s 8th birthday and did my stint in the Cathedral this morning. Now catching up with the TV.

Good morning everybody cold and sunny here. Off to visit my friend later and do some shopping.
A dusting of snow on the car this morning - that was a bit of a shock. But it’s glorious sunshine - and a bitter north wind, brrr! Think the fruit blossom may suffer with this sort of weather. Such a shame, it was looking amazing round here.
Forgot to say, heard the cuckoo yesterday morning and my swallows have arrived back this morning.

Its nice and sunny here but still a bit chilly . I’m out for lunch later and our handiman has turned up to put a button in my flat so that I can open our gate from inside the flat . Up to now I’ve had to go all the way up to the gate to let visitors in . Not funny if pouring down

My Tesco man was 5 mins late this am so it was great to be able to let him in without having to go outside

Had a good run back,left my son’s at 6.30 so the M4 was fairly quiet.Done the washing-now going to have the afternoon off.
It’s nice to go and it’s nice to come back!
Spent the day on the fund raising for the Air Ambulance at the Antiques Fair on the Royal Welsh Showground. Glad I took my coat and gloves, nasty cold wind - but at least it didn’t rain. Buckets were good and heavy, so it was worth us all freezing!!
