Managed to dodge the showers and take Rob out for lunch in Morrisons at Leominster. Some lovely sunshine along the way but the rain has set in for the day now. Just downloading Prime Suspect that I forgot to record last night. Don’t know how long that’s going to take… Zzzz…

Took the little boys - and one of their friends - to the Golf Club this evening for Easter Bingo. Chris won the first egg, then Jamie. Harry and I didn’t win a thing, but a lady on our table gave him one of the eggs that she’d won (2) so it was smiles all round!

Rhoysan ,glad you enjoyed the concert, you forget that they are the same age as some of us. Sue that was nice of the lady to give your grandson an egg. Jac sunny here today but it was also windy,hung out some washing so it should be dry.
Washed the car - though I don’t know why I bothered, the roads are so filthy that it’ll be dirty again before I get to the village. Dried and aired all the washing and everything is back in my nice clean airing cupboard, plumber arrived while I was playing bowls yesterday and changed the leaking tank. Lexi had a wonderful time this morning digging under the honeysuckle, all I could see was her tail. I have never ever seen her in such a state. However she dried off in the lovely sunshine and all the mud has now dropped off thank goodness!

Had a phone call from Australia,my grandson died aged 4 mths 29 yrs today . He was her brother even though she never got to meet him . Where as all that time gone , can remember it as if it was yesterday xx

Got a line of washing dry, second day in a row! Checkup at the dentist - no treatment - hooray. Had a lady and gentleman call here about 5 pm. His grandfather had lived here round about 1910 and he’d always meant to come and have a look at the house. Lexi thought they were great and spent the entire time they were here flat on her back having her tummy rubbed!

Nice and sunny with a breeze . I had to go out to pick up meds but couldn’t wait to get back . I’m turning into a hermit lol
Another glorious day. Took Rob out to lunch and had a few minutes in the garden when we came back. DIL and boys popped in to carry some compost and dog food out of the car for me and also got Jamie to replace the hatch to the loft that the plumber had left open on Saturday. Didn’t think it mattered much because it hasn’t been too cold, but the warmth has awoken the flies that have been hibernating up there and I’ve spent two days cleaning them off the landing windowsills! I HATE FLIES!!!

Sun shining again - have had to come into the front room to cool off! Off to take Rob to dentist in Brecon Hospital this afternoon. Not my favourite jaunt - the parking there is horrendous, especially when driving a converted Toyota Hiace (van). Must take deep breaths…
Dry here today with the odd shower. My nieces great daughter was two today so we were all at her birthday party.
