I’ve also heard that if you rub vic on your feet and then a pair of socks that also helps. Cold wind here today so it was some shopping and then home for me.
Wonder how I’ve managed to reach the ripe old age of 70 something and have never ever been rubbed by Vick!!
Car is now MOt’d and all I have to do now is pay the car tax, gulp.

Had a lovely couple of hours with granddaughter and g.granddaughter this morning.I’m so pleased they’ve included my name as the baby’s second name:-) She now weighs 4lbs 8ozs and the health visitor is pleased with her progress.
I remember when I was younger my mum always rubbed my chest with Vick. Really cold here today, was out for lunch today with friends and we had a good old chat.
Bitterly cold day here today. East wind. Dog and I didn’t go very far this morning! Went to a meeting in the chapel hall tonight and got there rather late. Was directed to an empty chair at the side, sat down and realised that there was a small heater blowing hot air on my feet from right behind me - best seat in the house!!
Chilly one today . I had to go and pick up meds so went to car wash and had the filthy thing cleaned for shames sake

Sunny here but really cold. Met friends in town and went to see La La Land and then we went for a curry which I really enjoyed.
Sun shine this morning,lot of rain last night.
Youngest grandson stay here tonight so been shopping for all the things he likes,hope his foody favourites haven’t changed.
Will be playing with toy cars and making Lego this afternoon.

No sunshine here today its been raining. I’ll be going shopping shortly for some foodstuff and a bottle of wine for later.
Saw the Danish Girl in the cinema and loved it - especially the costumes. It was so thought provoking. When it finished there wasn’t a sound in the place, we were all a bit thunderstruck!
Missing my furry friend to cuddle on the sofa this evening. She went shooting with her boss this morning, I had to drop her off on my way to play bowls.
Talking to a friend who records rainfall for the meteorological office today. He was looking back at last year’s records. January 2016 was the wettest month of the year with 187 ml of rain falling. So far this month we have had 30 ml - and there’s only four days to go. If we don’t get a lot of rain in Feb the reservoirs are not going to be full enough to see us through the summer.
