Happy Christmas folks.

Hope you all had a good day yesterday.Having a fairly restful day today.Cooking Christmas dinner again tomorrow for grandkids.

I had a quiet one yesterday but expecting the great-grand kids later
Its lovely sunshine here, really warm . Lots of folk on the beach and loads of folk braving the sea, must be mad lol

OMG The thought of going in the sea!!! The sun has been shining here, but I don’t think it’s been that warm. Went to see some friends this morning - (particularly a friend of Rob’s who had a stroke about ten days ago. Thankfully he seems to be making a good recovery and is home, walking and talking, if somewhat slowly). Lazy afternoon and evening in view.

Its dry at the moment but very chilly
I’ve just put my leftover turkey in a pan to make soup so thats my lot

Finally got to sit down after a houseful here all day,but I wouldn’t have it any other way.

Brrrr! Cold and very frosty and foggy here this morning. More tidying and putting away today! Oh and removing layer of dust from top of the bookcase - where did that come from??

Did anyone see the film “Captain Phillips” with Tom Hanks evening before last? Not my usual choice of film, but it was rivetting.

Son no 2 went back to his own home across the bridge this morning.Feeling a bit low now he’s gone. Will spend the rest of the day clearing up after yesterday’s onslaught.

I saw Captain Philips on DVD Sue and enjoyed . Anyone see "The Lady in the Van " I had seen it on DVD "and enjoyed it again. Just Enjoyed Mandela Long Walk to Freedom with Idris Elba . He was really good .
Lovely sunshine all day and warm with the sun on the window

Another sunny frosty morning. Love this weather. Expecting visitors this morning and hopefully will take Rob out to lunch later.

I like the frosty mornings too-but it’s foggy here too.
No plans for today-but things might change!

Much colder out there today and big rain clouds coming over
My family are due back from Italy today

Just had a message saying family’s flight has been cancelled due to high winds . Poor things xxxx

Just heard that they may not get a flight until 3rd , OMG

Good heavens Jac, how will they manage? Are they staying with rellies? What about the restaurant opening?

Took Rob out to lunch at the Three Cocks Garden Centre and it was packed to the rafters. However, we managed to get a table and only bought a loaf of bread afterwards, no Christmas trees the right size in the Sale unfortunately. (Rob’s little tree “died” just before Christmas, but I found a spare set of lights and decorated it with those - and I’m beginning to think I’ll do the same next year!)

Dank and foggy this morning.
Going to my granddaughter’s later to see the baby’s nursery that they finished decorating-at last!
Hope your family come home safely-Jac.

They are staying with family Sue and Guiseppe sold the restaurant last year so he just works there as a chef . But I’ve heard from Granddaughter in Aber that the visit hasnt gone too well . Joseff had a really bad chest and Teri a ear infection before going and very few people in the village speaks English so Daughter is very stressed
Cold and misty here . I have to go out to pick up meds but dont think I’ll hang around

Family got home last night and had a horrible journey down the M4 in the fog . Poor daughter has to go to work in the salon today ,she will be shattered.
Cold and gloomy here, looks like rain so @m having a duvet day xxx

Good evening everybody. Got home last night after being away two weeks and its nice to be back home again.

Blwyddyn Newydd Dda.
Happy New Year-here’s to a happy and healthy 2017.
