Over 50's Wales Club

Took my cards out today to post them and came back home with them again in my back. Started to put my tree and decorations up tonight.

Terrible fog on the M4 this morning and still drivers weren’t putting their headlights on-grrr.
Glad to be home for the rest of the day.

Damp and misty here, not nice
I’ve been to Mumbles to the bank and to post my cards . Glad to be back in the warm

Cold and dry here today. Hairdressers and chiropodist for me.

Very chilly here and dampish
Day for being in by the fire methinks . Keep warm xxx

Had a marvellous evening yesterday. Went with some friends to the Cinema in Hay for the live streaming of the Nutcracker ballet from the Royal Opera House. It was fab. Of course, it’s all happening this weekend. Tomorrow I’m off on a coach trip to Cardiff to see Kiss Me Kate and on Sunday it’s our village Christmas Fair and our Christingle Service at 6 pm in Church. Phew!
Oh, and on Monday I’m on duty in the Cathedral in Brecon where there is a Christmas Tree Festival!

You are a busy bee Sue ,you make me feel guilty
Overcast and gloomy here
Expecting a visit from grandaugher and new boy friend later. She now lives in Aberystwyth so dont see much of her

Gloomy outside here too.Finished" decking the halls" this morning.Granddaughter does my tree for me every year-she did it on Thursday,I usually tweek it a bit after her.To think that she’ll have ā€œhelpā€ next year from her baby who’ll be 10months old by then!

Nice and sunny here . Expecting daughter and co soon so thats me for the day xx

Murky out there this morning, glad I haven’t got to go out today.
MUST start packing the pressies today!

Its dismal and dreary here today . I’m giving my lot money this year so no presents to pack

Good evening everybody cold here today but no rain. Cards all written and posted and one present to wrap up and I’m finished.

Horrible day, but managed to make it to the Cathedral for their Christmas Tree Festival. Started with the children from Ysgol y Bannau (Welsh medium school) visiting and they’d only just finished warbling ā€œJingle Bellsā€ when we were invaded by the entire battalion from the Infantry Battle School for their Carol Concert (there had been a slight hiccup in the timing !). The children were taken off for tea and biccies somewhere else whilst we were treated to the full Carol Concert. I have to say that approx 60 soldiers singing didn’t make that much impression (they must have been English).

rain rain and more bloody rain, have you all been in the dry today

I’ve been out for a pub-lunch but its been wet and dismal so glad to get back to the fire

Off to the sunshine tomorrow then my niece for Christmas. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

Have a great time Jess xx
