First time I have felt cold enough to put my dressing gown on for breakfast, very grey out there as well
I’ve got to push myself out for lunch later, I’m getting like a hermit lol
Visited my friend today then into town to the chiropodist. Jac I usually put my fleecey dressing gown on at night time if its really cold.
Rob not very well today and the Doc finally came to check him over at 6 pm. She thinks it’s just a viral cold, but he’s been sick, and not drinking, so rather a cause for concern. However, we’ll see how he is in the morning.
To cap it all, dog was sick on our walk (but she’d been eating grass) and the cat was sick on the mat. Deep joy!!
Hope your day is better today-Sue.
Chilly wind out this morning.Meeting friend for lunch later.
Keep warm and have a good day.
Things seem to go in 3’s Sue
Brightened up here after a grey start…fed up with all the US election programs…off to lunch with the Westies tomorrow so hope the weather is ok!
Pouring down at the moment . Had to go see the nurse for my B12 inj and daughter called down for a visit ,
Won another£10 on Postcode Lottery xx
Fed up with news about Trump . How would you know if he started with senile dementia ?? He is nuts anyway ,god help us
Hope Rob is on the mend Sue xx
Good afternoon everybody. Sue hope Rob has recovered. Heavy rain here last night and some snow on the hills this morning. Well its all over now thank goodness we will get some peace for a little while.
Thanks all. Rob is better today but still not quite back to his usual self. Hoping to go to U3A and meet Rosie tomorrow.
Trotted off down to bowls this evening and discovered that we had a team from a neighbouring village visiting us. (Missed last week so had forgotten about this arrangement). Anyway we managed a win even if I wasn’t wearing my club jumper!!
Glad to hear Rob is on the mend Sue xx
Some sunshine at first but overcast now and it looks like rain
I’ve got a seagull that calls around a couple of times a day for grub . Trouble is if I dont find him something straight away he spits over my window so I’ve had to clean them again
Good afternoon everybody.Sue glad to hear that Rob is on the mend. Jac the seagulls here are always looking for food. The council has put notices up asking people not to feed them.
A lady was taken to court for littering. She threw a chip on the floor and a seagull ate it . I think she got off with it lol
Another drama here this morning - no heating!! Couldn’t get hold of my boiler engineer, plumber thought it sounded electrical so Rob’s buddy, Clive came to have a look. He got the boiler going then discovered a leak in the oil pipe, so I had to dash to Hay for a length of pipe! Anyway, to cut a long story short, we now have heat again and have just spoken to the engineer and he’s coming to service it asap. Phew!!
Needless to say, didn’t get to U3A. Just as well really as I had a message from Rosie (at lunchtime, though she sent it last night) to say she couldn’t make it either.
I’m lucky in my little flat Sue ,don’t need heating just an electric fire for an hour or two in the evening . The sun on my window is like being in a greenhouse and upstairs have got under floor heating so I benefit from as well.
Just started sorting out my wardrobe and found things i didnt know i had lol
I havent thrown anything out though, just put in the bottom of wardrobe for next year
Hope you get the heating sorted soon Sue.I put mine back on this morning,it was cold in the house when I came back from my errands. It’s grey and dull morning.
Driving across the bridge in the morning to stay with son no2 for a week.Fingers crossed for a dry journey along the M4,hate driving on motorways in the rain.
Changeable day here , one minute strong sunshine and then big rain clouds
Hope your journey goes ok Rhosyn
I’m not doing much today
Had a terrible journey to my son’s.It rained all the way windscreen wipers working fast speed. Was really glad to arrive here.
Oh Rhosyn, you have my sympathy. Hate motorway driving anyway, but in that sort of rain it can be frightening.
Off out to dinner shortly to celebrate Micky’s birthday with the family. Going to the pub in Clyro - will be interesting to see what it’s like. One friend told me last week that they’d booked a table for 7 pm and didn’t eat until 9.30 - another friend says they’ve had a couple of good meals there!
Cold morning here in Berkshire-but it’s not raining!
Being taken out for lunch today:-)
Lovely sunshine here
The AGM of the owners is today . They usually have a great buffet afterwards. I 'm not feeling up to going so hope someone will bring me a doggy bag .lol
