Nimby I’m thinking of getting some work done here but only thinking at the moment. Dry here at the moment and waiting for my niece and her friends to come down here.
Some sun but sometimes overcast here but its warm .Got a feeling the family may visit later
Arrived back in Wales this morning.Wasn’t feeling too well last week but still enjoyed the stay with my son.
Good morning everybody some blue skies here today. Some shopping and maybe get out and do some gardening.
Damp and murky here …are you feeling better Rhosyn ?
Off to class soon
Pouring down here .YUK
Got to go out to a doc appt but would rather stay in
Hope you are feeling better Rhosyn
Murky day here too. Been doing greeting duty in the Cathedral again, was so dark when I went in I thought someone had forgotten to turn the lights on! Lovely families from Belgium and Holland in this morning - hardly any English visitors though.
By the way, WHITE RABBITS. Can’t believe it’s August already…
Pouring down and feels quite cold out there
I’m out for a pub lunch later .Think I’ll be wearing a jumper
A few spots of rain here today and still quite warm. Didn’t do much today apart from going for some shopping.
It’s been raining most of the day here and very humid
Think we’ve had our summer
Took the little boys to the cinema this afternoon to see “The BFG” - anyone else seen it? I can recommend it, lots of bits in it for the adults as well as the children. When I think of how much I read as a child I can’t imagine how I completely missed out on Roald Dahl.
Pouring when I got up but blue sky when I’d changed my bed . Sheets blowing well and now its pouring again . Think I’ll chance leaving them and hope the wind is blowing the rain away .Cant believe its August
I thought exactly the same Sue. We lived at the other end of the road to the local library. I would get a book in the morning, read, and change it in the afternoon. Was Roald Dhal around when we were little?
Nice day here, not too hot, not too cold. Just right.
Care company been in for updates etc, now awaiting GP to visit.
Raining here today and then some blue skies. I don’t remember reading any Roald Dahl books when I was younger.
Sunny at the moment but big clouds up there.
Just been pottering around so chilling now
Showery morning but manged to have a dry walk.
Feeling 90% better today.
I’m going to be a great-grandmother in February:-)My granddaughter told me two weeks ago but was sworn to secrecy until she had her first scan. Strange to think that my son is going to be a grandfather! Bought baby wool yesterday, glad I’ve kept some baby knitting patterns.
Lovely news Rhosyn. xx
Overcast and gloomy here .Looks like rain (again)
Used my last cheque and haven’t received a new one . Tried phoning and it got so complicated I ended up putting phone down so will have to go into the bank I suppose
Cloudy morning, hope it brightens up later.Bit of gardening later if I can get myself up to speed!
Have a good Saturday.
Congratulation rhosyn, how lovely. Nice to have an excuse to get those needles out.
Wall to wall sunshine this morning. Walked dogs now going for an exciting time at Tescos. Picked up my old dogs ashes on Thursday, brought it home to me that she’s really gone.
Care still going a well, almost too frightened to tempt fate. It’s so nice as carers from other companies we have had are transferring to this company to be with Michael. Nurses we have had in the past are also find out he’s home and coming on the package. It makes such a difference.
Anyone stay up to see the Olympics? I didn’t and hopefully will be able to download on Sky later. Rio brings back many fond memories of the time we spent there.
Morning all. No I didn’t stay up to see the opening of the Olympics Celyn, but I expect to be watching lots of bits in the coming days. Up early this morning and off to Llandrindod to do some shopping, so back by 10 am and treated myself to an hour on the patio reading the paper and drinking coffee. Have also managed to pick some more runner beans, so my favourite lunch again, bacon and beans and possibly a courgette!
Glad to hear the care package is going well (fingers crossed), so glad Michael is home again.
Congratulation Rhosyn. What are you planning on knitting? I’ve just started cross-stitching Christmas Cards (bit cheaper than buying another tapestry kit!
