WHITE RABBITS Can you believe it’s June already? Cloud cover this morning, but it’s still dry, will have to water the pots on the patio I think. Off to take Rob shopping in Leominster - will have to stock the freezer, half term takes its toll!

Overcast here but quite warm . People all running about playing cricket etc on beach . not sunbathing like yesterday .

Thanks Sue. He had to have an MRI today to see if the recent life threatening infection has gone into the bone. He can’t tolerate being on his back and he had to be kept like that for an hour and on a different ventilator, which was very uncomfortable. Bit much after being so ill, he found it hard to endure and is exhausted. He had to be given oxygen.
Daughter started radiotherapy today. It was all very intersting but i guess it may become boring. She was very tires too.
I just went mad and cut down a few trees, as one does when one is worried and needs to take your mind off something

Don’t rub it in about nice weather. It’s still freezing, grey and blowing a gale. Doesn’t give me much motivation to get up and out with the dogs. How can two parts of the country be so different?

G/daughter and great grandson coming down later . Due to a big family rift I haven’t seen the lad for 2 yrs and his mother or longer . She seems to be trying to turn her life around so it will be good to see them
Oh I hope so Jac. I remember the problems that you had. Fingers crossed. Off to hospital shortly, going to do Michael’s tracheostomy change which is way overdue because of recent events. I think I’ve managed to round up a consultant to act as my assistant!
I hope you all get sunburn, as I freeze!!!

I just love the fact that a Consultant is going to be your assistant Celyn, but can’t believe how rotten your weather is, it’s glorious here again. Took the little boys swimming this morning and when we came home they had the paddling pool out! Now have loads of dirty towels …
Going to the Cathedral in Brecon tomorrow morning - starting a new pastime as a “Meeter & Greeter”. All I know about the Cathedral could be written on the back of a postage stamp, but I’m told it’s important to make visitors feel welcome - and to be able to work the disabled lift. (I can’t help but wonder where the lift goes to???)

Talk about pressure. Not only did the consultant assist me but he he invited two other consultants to watch, who had not seen a tracheostomy changed. Had to go into lecturer mode and explain every detail. Felt drained.
Please let us have a warmer day today. Haven’t looked out yet as very late last night.

Overcast here…again!! I see its the 50th anniversary of the opening of the Severn Bridge. We were one of the first people across in 1966. Memories. I notice the sun is shining there Grrrr!

My family visit went well and they brought me a lovely bouquet of roses.I had massive panic attack before they came .My g/daughter gets them so she was great but I was drained afterwards . Havent a clue why I’m being like this . Much better today but I’m going to just chill

Not doing much as usual
Not my day-put two eggs on to hard boil for lunch sat in the garden having my coffee,did a few jobs in the garden,came back into a bomb site kitchen-the eggs had boiled dry and exploded all over the place!I’d forgotten all about them:blush:
Had to wait till the hob had cooled down before attempting to clean the mess.Later turned the tap on too much and got soaked.Think I’ll hide for the rest of the day incase the third thing happens!
At least the weather is lovely.

Spent most of the morning getting the boys’s belongings back home and tidying up and most of the afternoon sewing the backing on to the cushion covers I’ve been making (since Christmas). Have been putting that job off for too long! Nearly finished the fifth one and have a bid on eBay for the sixth. Where on earth am I going to put all these cushions???
