Ordered a new garden table on line this morning-ready for Spring when hopefully we can sit outside!

Yes the snooker result was amazing wasn’t it? I was watching Bloodlands, but turned back to the snooker to see Jordan Brown being interviewed and presented with the trophy. Well done him.
Youngest grandson is here and doing his schoolwork atm. I’ve put potatoes in the oven for lunch, sorted the washing and put another load in so have popped here to check up on emails. Can’t think why, deleted all but one!

My washing machine is still playing up so the firm is coming tomorrow to take it away again. Think i might have to buy a new one .
Still feeling lousy and back is in half through lying on settee all day .

Change in the weather today. Looks like showers all day and it’s not very warm out there. (Not that I’ve been far, only across the yard to the shed). No grandson this morning. Two of his pigs are off to be changed into sausages this morning, so he’s either saying goodbye or is being very brave and taking them to the abbatoir with his Dad. Brave chap.
Amazed to find yet another snooker tournament last night! ITV2 the Players Championship. First match I saw was quite a dramatic loss for Judd Trump!
Got caught in a very heavy shower on our walk this morning,glad I haven’t got to go out again today.
4 year old great granddaughter went back to school this morning,she was quite excited apparently.A step towards “normality”

It’s wet and windy here. Grandson is at home as his Mum doesn’t go into work on Wednesdays so I was thinking of taking myself off for an hour or so, but don’t fancy getting soaked. Got some soup to finish up for lunch so at a bit of a loose end this morning. Thank goodness for snooker on the box!

Had a video call with my middle grandson yesterday-he needs a haircut,he was going to ask one of his housemates to cut it for him but after seeing the mess he had made of one of the other boys he changed his mind!

I am spitting feathers! Phone call from Powys CC asking to speak to Charles (Rob’s first name but not the name he uses). I explained that Rob doesn’t speak and that I was his mother and she went on to explain that she wished to ask some questions about wellbeing. I suggested she find out more about the people she was phoning before starting. Grrr ! Rant over.

My car wouldn’t start this morning-think it’s the battery.My next door neighbour has jump leads so he’s going to my aid after he’s back from taking his daughter to school.It’s the first time it’s not started in the 6 yrs I’ve had it.Will take it for a long run if/when it gets going.
Know what you mean about names Sue-I’m not known by my first name but when in doctor’s etc they always call you by the first name(which I don’t like)

Another lovely morning, but very frosty. Washing is up to date - for a change so no need to do that.
Had a lovely car trip yesterday afternoon. DIL and grandson were going to retrieve the pigs from the abbatoir so I went along for the ride. Forgotten what the outside world looked like! Coming back I was hoping she could see more than me cos the sun was in my eyes - never thought to take sunglasses! Have some gorgeous sausagemeat in my fridge - was going to make sausage rolls but what I thought was flaky pastry in the freezer turned out to be shortcrust, so I’ll buy some tomorrow when I go shopping.
Glad to see Celyn (Sylvie) is out of hospital.
Appointment for second jab arrived in the post this afternoon. They are certainly getting on with it. Well done Wales!

I’m a happy bunny after this afternoon’s result. One of Rob’s carers, (English) is spitting feathers on FB. When I see her I shall point out that even if we discount two disputed tries, we would still win!!!
Made some sausage rolls this morning, but didn’t really get the pastry thin enough - and didn’t stick them down securely either, so they sort of exploded - tasted good though!

Hi Sue I’m fine thanks. Staying home and only going shopping for things I need. Had my first jab three weeks ago.
lovely sunshine here . My great grandson who lives in Liverpool is down staying with daughter Karen for a week or so ,they are bringing him to visit later. He is 2 in nov and i.ve only seen him once
