Just made some apple chutney - if we’re having lots of pork thought we’d need some apple chutney!
Thought it was going to be a soggy day again, but we have had some sunshine.

My 2 yr old G/Grandson in Liverpool has been taken into hospital with Bronchitis. My daughter doesnt know what to do because she wouldnt be able to visit even if she hot-footed it up there . I’m waiting for news .

Baby came home last night . He didnt need oxygen nor a drip so they said he would be safer at home .Comes to something when our hospitals arn’t safe .

Took my buddy who doesn’t drive to shop at Aldi in Llandrindod this morning. We went early so it was pretty quiet. Nice to have a potter round in a shop again!

Went to Church this morning. Vicar (who is leaving shortly) forgot his robe (!) and his wife had to drive home for it, so we had a very pleasant chat outside the Church in the sun. Seemed almost a shame to go inside afterwards…
Glad of the sunshine today. Have had a couple of disastrous days with the washing, so atm the machine is on its 4th load… and will put that one out for a bit as well. Other than that, I’ve done nothing…

Just had a panic . My recording box has died on me so i pulled TV out this am to see if I could fix it but i lost the TV as well . TG our handy man was around and fixed it so happy again

Drove to PO this morning to bank money for Church. It has rained almost all day so haven’t done much else. Quite restful after yesterday.

Glorious here first thing, but the rain came in about 3.30 and it’s gone really cold now.
Osteopath came to Rob for the first time since February. Told him to be gentle cos I had no idea how Rob would cope with exercises, but he didn’t do too badly considering the length of time he’s been without.
Hope you’re both feeling better now. I’m just debating whether to put 9 tog duvet on my bed when I change it. I’ve had the electric blanket on for a few nights. As long as I get into a warm bed I can usually sleep. Horrid when you can’t.

Washing machine on-hopefully will be able to dry clothes outside.
Had a better night’s sleep last night so a bit more hwyl today.
Having the bathroom floor measured this afternoon(free)Will see how much to have a new flooring will cost before I commit.

Specialist armchair delivered for Rob to try - OT coming this afternoon to supervise us putting him in it. I have to say it is the most hideous thing I have ever seen and quite honestly I can’t see any particular benefit to him being in it. It may be going back tomorrow - watch this space.

Decided not to have the bathroom floor done.It’s in good condition,just felt like a change so going to buy a nice bright mat-will be cheaper!

Couldn’t understand why my little electric fire in the sitting room wouldn’t work last night (and I wasn’t really warm enough whilst sitting there). Discovered this morning that youngest grandson must have been fiddling with the knobs when he sat there on Tuesday! All sorted now.
Bit overcast here so i cleaned my window . I do enjoy my seagulls visiting but they spit all over .
Granddaughter in Liverpool is upset because she had planned to holiday in Wales and visit all the family for her babys first birthday next month but of course thats impossible now . My daughter cant even go and visit her .What a world
