Lots of lovely rain today. Did loads of jigsaw and chatting on FB, now looking forward to scampi and chips delivery by DIL.
Eerie out this morning-very quiet even the birds werenāt singing so much.
Cooked a beef brisket joint in the slow cooker over night so that will do me for the next couple of days.
Going to have a go at cutting my fringe today!

I have had two new grandpuppies this week. Chris will be 11 on Thursday and has a Huntaway and granddaughters boyfriend has bought a golden cocker bitch, so like Lexi that I cried. Wish I could put up pics for you, but this site defeats me when it comes to photos.

Sue,there is on online forum for local news called Nextdoor and someone put it on there. It is the same size as a large cruise ship but no balconies nor windows . Iāve never seen one before. Its still there,

My daughter and s-I-l called for 10 mins yesterday .They took my recycling down . They had been to Sainsburys for a shop which they said was a waste of time . Hardly anything like eggs etc were in stock and the wait outside was over an hour and they had to go in separately . They said there were lots of discarded masks and gloves all over in the town

Setting a new zigzag fringe fashion!Bit awkward to cut it because I wear glasses and had to take them off to get at the fringe then put them back on to see what Iād done!
Misread the bedside clock this morning-thought it was 6.15 but it was 5.15.Showered etc before I realised.

Have done very little today, apart from laundry and a cake for DIL. Just listening to the Archers and then Iām back to the West Wing.
Out for a walk early this morning.The bin men were on their rounds I thanked them and they were all smiles that Iād clapped and said thank you.Iāve also put a āDiolchā on my wheelie bin.
Had a video call with granddaughter and g.grandchildren yesterday.The 3year old was telling me about "the nasty horrible germs"that were out to make people sick.
No plans today just take whatever the day brings.Stay Safe.

Put up my new solar garden lights around the arch.Will have to wait until they come on tonight to see if they need to be jiggled about,think thereās a few of them in a bit of a bunch.

Another load of washing and made a pan of soup. Ordered a new washing line as mine looks like itās going to break soon and talked to a friend on the phone. Now for a ten minute sit and a cup of coffee.
Lovely sunshine here and Iāve just had my coffee with a little whisky in it for medicinal purposes. lol My back is in half and Iām walking around like an old woman .

Up early,was in Tesco by 6.45.Had to queue for the checkout for a few minutes,think thatās the time to go shopping.Stopped on the way home to take pup for a walk.Thatās me done for the day!
The village running team were taking videos on their phones as they passed people out clapping last night,itāll be interesting to see it on the village page next week.

I had a run in the car this morning to take grandson to his father, who was muck spreading! Such a lovely morning and I was amazed to see how green the valley is now and lots of primroses and bluebells in the hedgerows.

Karen did call yesterday but Handyman had already taken my recycling .She and Joe are off to Liverpool today . My granddaughter has been crying on the phone ,she and partner are not coping with the lock-in. They are going to get her and baby . I hope it doesnāt all kick off . They were not sure they were doing the right thing . It will be great for them to spend time with the baby but not in these circumstances .

Sonās going to order new chrome book for me today from Amazon,heās got a prime membership so hopefully Iāll get it fairly soon then itāll be fun and games to set it up!
Thinking of my Mam more today,she died 38years ago,far too young and far too soon.
