Had my last dental treatment earlier.Almost as bad as the treatment was the cost.

Has stopped raining at last. Very soggy everywhere and my lane is getting narrower and narrower because all the greenery on the verges is drooping into the road because of being waterlogged!
No U3A today because Radio 4 is going to record Question Time in the Brecon theatre and they require it for two whole days to ensure the security of the participants (!) Wonder who is going to be on it?
Middle son popped in last night to show me his scar. He left the dressing off it because they were going out for an hour where he wouldnāt need to have it covered but will wear one when heās working today etc. Scar is quite dramatic but has healed really well, someone has done some amazing embroidery in there! Heās been so lucky.
Fed up with this rain.
Going to see a friend today-hope there wonāt be any daft drivers on the M4.
Itās been 4years today since my best friend died.Sheās in my thoughts every day-more so today.
It had been raining when I got up but cleared up now. None too warm though.
Daughter has only just gone so Iām talked out . lol
Off out to lunch shortly to celebrate Robās and Davidās birthdays, but not looking forward to loading Rob up in this weather. Weāll be dripping when we get thereā¦

Iāve been in pain for the last few days.My son did abdominal thrust on me as I was choking and being a big man he did it a bit too hard which has caused me having bruised ribs on my right side but at least it shifted the obstruction.Taking pain killers, applying cold compresses and resting.Spoke to doctor this morning and was told I was doing the right things and it would take a bit of time to heal.Still it could be worst.
Poor you Rhosyn ,but it is better than the alternative xxx

So cross with myself. My GTech has shed a wheel (replacement on its way) and in the meantime, Henry is back in favour. His on/off button isnāt working (i.e. he is permanentlly āonā) so ordered a replacement from Amazon. DIL and I did the DIY bit this evening - only to realise that Iāve replaced a perfectly good Hi/Lo switch, not the faulty on/off switch! Are you following me? Grrr!

Donāt know what to do with myself atm. Waiting for visitors to arrive, doesnāt seem worth starting anything! Shot out first thing to Garden Centre to get gift voucher for youngest sonās birthday today and took that and his card over to the bungalow (under construction). Theyāve done such a lot since Saturday, itās amazing.

Just finished making Welsh cakes for the boys helping youngest son to convert his bungalow into a dormer. Off over there now to take some more photos. Theyāll need the Factor 50 on today.

Had a quiet weekend,spent most of it watch the tennis from Queenās-roll on Wimbeldon next week.Tennis is the only sport I watch apart from Wales rugby.

I even watched the ladies footie yesterday . It was England V Cameroon and it was very aggressive and dramatic on Cameroons side . England did well to keep their cool and won 3 -O.
Very overcast here today and Iām finding it quite cool.
Finding it rather muggy here, think Iām going to have a (rare)headache. Or it could be the thought that Iāve spent over Ā£2000 this morning on a new suite for the living room (including an electronic recliner for me).
