Oh Jac, that is so depressing. Wonder whose ideas that was, health and safety gone mad - as usual.
Went shopping first thing this morning (after being awake at 5 am), now needing to put feet up and watching “Octopussy” - don’t think I’ve ever seen it before. Good old Bond.
Sunny again.Second lot of washing pegged out. Will be out gardening later.
Taking my dog for a follow up appointment at the vet by 8.30 tomorrow morning.
Enjoy the sunshine.
Glorious sunshine after a frost! Off to Church in a bit, then, perhaps, some gardening…
Nice and sunny here but a chill breeze .
I had a nice surprise on Sunday . Brenda and Marilyn off Saga-Zone were staying in the flats for a few days and contacted me on FB and called in for a chat . xxx
Very sad morning here-my next door neighbour died. There was an ambulance and police car outside the house. She was in her 80’s,her son lived with her.She was a lovely gentle lady, she’ll be missed.
Sorry to hear about your neighbour Rhosyn. I expect you’ll miss her.
Another glorious day here. My gardener came and we cleared out the side porch (which was full of ivy danging down) and washed all the bins and doors. Needless to say I’m whacked this evening. The boys have been here and helped me to put up Rob’s sunshade on the patio (clue for the weather to change I expect).
Where is everybody? It’s the 19th today and noone has been here since I posted on the 15th???
Are you all OK?
Weather lovely and sunny.
They say that sad news comes in threes,my next door neighbour and two of my friend’s brothers have died lately.
Need some good news.
I.ve been peeping in but nothing exciting to say lol
Nice sunshine here but my balcony looks bare without my pots
Thank goodness, was beginning to get worried about you Jac. Lovely sunny day here. Had a bit of a disaster yesterday. Left my washing on the line and we had a cloudburst. My line is liable to stretch a bit, but by the time it was loaded with soaked clothing, everything ended up on the floor, so it all had to be rinsed, spun and washed again. Phew. Well, the good news is it’s now all washed dry and back in the airing cupboard.
OMG Sue what a palaver.
Nice enough here so I’ve been giving my balcony a good clean . I’ve got a few ornaments of Budda,s etc that I’m going to put out there . It looks really bare without my plants though
Been out and about today. There were some real idiots on the roads-the sun must have brought them out!
Now in for the rest of the day and tomorrow.
Sunny again this morning.
Got a sausage casserole in oven, granddaughter and children coming later.Granddaughter going back to work next week after an extended maternity leave.
Going to take some casserole into next door, poor man he’s lost without his mother. He’s never been married with no siblings and has always lived with his mother. It’s going to be hard for him.
Nice day again so I’ve made a start on washing things on balcony and my Tesco man has been so that’s my excitement for the day xxx
Not quite so sunny this morning.
Middle grandson’s been staying for a couple of nights,he’s gone back home this morning now clearing up after him!
No plans for the bank holiday.
There was a thick sea mist over the beach this morning but its cleared now.
I’ve been washing all my sea shells off the balcony . They were filthy lol
I’ve not got any plans either.
Have a good one xxx
Had a surprise visit from son no2 on Sunday. He went back yesterday evening,it was lovely to see him albeit a flying visit.
Rain this morning but cleared up now, pegged the washing out.
Its pouring down here so glad to be indoors . Tesco has been and I’ve not got anything much to do so its the tv for me later. I’ve been watching BGT so have taped BBC1. BGT is dreadful this year but once I start watching I think I must carry on lol
June already!
Family silver had to be sold again-bought a new mattress this morning!Paid to take the old one away, saves a lot of hassle.
It’s being delivered on Friday.
Have a good day.
What are you sleeping on in the meantime Rhosyn?
White rabbits, again! Can’t believe it’s June already.
The country is looking at its absolute best atm. Hedges are full of Queen Anne’s Lace and the hawthorn trees are amazing this year. Went shopping first thing this morning and now watching the racing from Epsom.
