Last of the big spenders today. Had a flying visit to Brecon to buy two new toilet seats! The one in Rob’s bathroom had split (! how did that happen) and I’ve got fed up with landing on a cold plastic one and treated myself to a wooden one 
Definitely warmer today, might actually get Rob out tomorrow for a ride in the truck and a spot of lunch.
Cleaning window was on agenda today but a thick sea mist is rolling in so that’s no good . Duvet day for me again

Off out later to meet Roses for lunch. Neither of us fancied U3A lecture this morning so we’ve cut straight to lunch at the Garden Centre.
Not quite so lovely here today, but dry and the first load of washing is blowing on the line. Second load in the machine. Also boiling a piece of bacon for the lambing gang. (Multi-tasking)
Men have been hereto put up scaffolding so I’ve been here with curtains drawn . They are gone now so I can relax

Taking my dog for a haircut at 9.30,then doing some shopping.

Such lovely weather. Fabulous for the washing and sitting in the conservatory with the doors wide open until 5 pm. Dropping cold now though, expecting a frost tonight.

Son no1 cooked a lovely Mother’s day lunch for me today but I had to do the washing up as he was leaving to go to Bristol at 2pm.He managed to use a lot of dishes!
Had a video call from Prague from son no2.

Granddaughter’s 30th birthday today.Where have those years gone?!They are going to Legoland.Will celebrate with her and family tomorrow.

Having broadband problems here. Half the time I can’t get on the air and the other half the speed is so slow it’s like watching paint dry.
Had wine and chocolates on Sunday and a visit from Rob’s girlfriend and No.3 son. So forrtunate.

Another conflab with BT this morning. Broadband coming and going like traffic lights. We’re having a specialist conversion firm bringing a new converted van down for us to try tomorrow - let’s hope it’s not snowing! Also have a funeral to go to in the afternoon - another character gone from the village.
