My friend had break in last week . She had been out and when she came home realised someone had been in . Her son noticed a phone on the floor and as he picked it up it rang. It was the burglars wife phoning him !!Her son said he had just picked it up outside and arranged to return it .Imagine the burglars face when 6 lads turned up plus the police . They did give him a few punches before the police arrived and I just read in the Mirror he got 2 years.He only took 2 items of jewelry but my friend was really upset because sentimental value
What a turn about in the match last night.Decided to watch the second half on my tablet in bed.Think Iāll watch all the Wales games in bed from now on-they played better upstairs!!
Been out shopping this morning.Some parts of the pavements were slippery but the roads were clear.

Been a very chilly week. Ventured forth on Friday for a haircut and on Saturday to play bowls in Llandod. Of course as soon as one gets to the village there is nothing on the roads. My road to the village (about a mile) is not gritted and has its share of ups and downs (and bends) so quite exciting to travel on. I have a 4x4, but even a 4x4 is useless on ice! Howeer the forecast is warmer for next week - praise be.
All the snow has thankfully gone after the rain yesterday.
Had some sad news yesterday,my first cousinās husband died on Saturday.He developed a heart problem in last few months.Havenāt seen them for a few years,they had moved to the Scottish borders.
Staying put today.

Its a cold one out there. Wind has gone down a bit now tide is going out.
Our communal arial has gone down and not likely to be fixed for a few days . I have got a cheap little indoor one so hoping that will work

Nearly time for kick-off, good luck to Wales. Getting ready to go down to the Village Hall for a āRace Nightā. Have a feeling there wonāt be that many people there, between the rough weather and a rugby match!

Havenāt been feeling very well since Friday night woke up with a terrible cough.Felt really grotty Saturday and Sunday.Finally gave in this morning and went to the doctor,turns out Iāve got pneumonia so no wonder Iāve been feeling so grotty.On two lots of antibiotics got to rest and plenty of fluids.

Granddaughter just phoned and said flooding was really bad near where she live . She said it was in same area that they had drought last year and the farmers are having a real bad time .Crazy !!Have a good one

Same here Rhosyn. And to add insult to injury the Fire alarm went off at about 3.30am and 5.30 am , I just about managed to phone handiman and went back to bed . TG false alarm as usual
