Had a hectic day yesterday.Most of the family came for lunch and stayed until early evening,lovely to see them but g.granddaughter is so busy and is nearing the " naughty two"stage.
Son no2 arriving sometime tomorrow to spend Christmas in Wales,looking forward to having his company.

Sunshine and showers here again. Iāve just decided to de-ice my fridge so that will keep me busy
Thank goodness it wasnāt raining today. Went to a funeral at noon and nearly got blown away in the Churchyard. Church looked amazing, they had decorated with poppies for Remembrance Day and decided to leave them up.
Fed up with coughing and spluttering. Up half the night with a cough, so now going to have a nap. Up early to do a bit of shopping before decorating the Church.

Thatās it. Done all Iām going to do! Had a decent nightās sleep last night and very little coughing today Iām glad to report. Looking forward to midnight service in Church tonight, the Church looks wonderful with holly, ivy and candles on all the windowsills. Wish I could work out how to put pics on here (well on to the computer first!) that might be my mission over the Dog days after Christmas! Have a good one all of you.

Itās āFake Christmasā here today-the grandchildren and g.grandchildren coming for the day.So itās a day in the kitchen for me!But itās lovely to have them.
Itās been great having son no 2 here for a few days, heās going back to Berkshire this evening.

Tesco has been so back to normal .
A dry day and not really cold . Tide is right in but I bet there will be loads out walking later.
Peace and quiet today.Son no2 stayed an extra night,he left at 10 this morning.
The cooker was in a bit of a mess after all the cooking so thatās had a clean.Next job sorting the fridge out.

Managed a bit of shopping today - to my suprise it was quite quiet in Aldi - and took a book back to Tesco (DIL & I had bought the same one for Chris).Also managed to get my new i-pad up and running - but need some instructions from someone who knows what they are doing! Just watched Mrs. Brownās Boys that I recorded and really enjoyed that! 
a wet one here so another day chilling out . I enjoy Mrs Brown as well , like the humour .

Keeping fingers crossed that all the family will make it to supper tomorrow as Iāve bought a whacking great joint of beef! (Also cheated and bought Yorkshires, roasties and honey roasted parsnips). Prepped the rest of the veg and spent the afternoon with Chris starting one of my new jigsaws. Going over there to babysit this evening - and Chris has promised to make me fresh popcorn (he had a popcorn machine from Santa).
Cooking lunch for two friends today.Hope this the last roast I have to cook this year!
Will be taking the decorations down tomorrow,I never leave them until 12th night.

Daughter just called for a coffee so Iām ready to relax now .Iāve got a turkey drumstick left so may try and make a pot of stew out of it
