Had quite a lot of rain last night.Had a bad night so could hear it against the bedroom windows.Saves watering the garden.
Given the bathroom a good clean this morning,feeling quite pleased with myself enough to take the afternoon off!
A warm one with a nice breeze today . I woke up with my dizziness so didn’t venture out in case I fell so a really lazy one .
Lazy day today. Just finished watering the greenhouse and the runner beans (that are at last starting to set) and going to watch the box now.

Setting off very early tomorrow morning-driving to Berkshire to stay with son no2 for a week.Looking forward to spending some time with him while he’s in the country.He’s away so much it’s a job to pin him down!

Supposed to be the hottest day of the year so far, but it’s been overcast and so cooler here. Had a bit of a drama getting Rob’s medication this morning, thanks to a misunderstanding about “repeat Prescriptions”. Thankfully the Pharmacist came to my rescue and DIL picked up the pills this evening.
Loads of flies about, memo to self, buy fly swatter…
Dreary start but its clearing now so I’ve chanced my washing out and hope the rain has finished . Out for pub-lunch later

Lost a filling when cleaning my teeth this morning.Rang the dentist was told that he only works part time now,first appointment is 28th August!They’ll let me know if there’s a cancellation before then.

What funny weather !.Lashed down last night and really windy . Our light kept going on and off so at 3am I got up to shut the corridor windows and I couldn’t open my door because of the wind . This AM w have had blue sky ,overcast sky ,lashing rain and just now thunder and lightening . What next . And its cold out here as well
Rain overnight and today we’ve had torrential downpours and according to my tablet 49 mph winds! What a day for a wedding. Son & DIL are going to the wedding party, wondering if it is in a marquee? Oooo-er!! Boys are coming for a sleepover - will probably be back under the duvet tonight - first time in ages.
