Rain,rain and more rain.The road into the village is flooded,even buses couldn’t get through earlier.
My 1st cousin is visiting tomorrow,haven’t seen him for about 3yrs.He’s treating me to a meal tomorrow night as payment for a night’s bed!Been doing extra cleaning ready for his visit.

It was pouring down earlier and I had to go and see the nurse for blood tests . Dressed for the weather , boots etc and by the time I got thre the sun was out !

My daughter and s-I-L have gone to Liverpool by train for a few days . They tried to book to see the Terracotta Army but all booked up . They are just going to try and just turn up but anyway they are visiting their daughter who works in Liverpool
Apparently there was a mud slide which closed the road earlier-all the heavy rain had run off the hill side and made a real mess.
I’m off to Liverpool in June Jac - to see the terracotta army. Trip organised by U3A, so hope they’ve booked our spots at the museum.
Had a bit of a disaster this morning - dome came off the end of my hearing aid and I didn’t know where it had finished up (in my ear?) so a trip to Brecon hospital hearing aid clinic. Had to park by the bus station and puff and pant my way up the hill, but good news, no dome in ear!! Did a bit of shopping in Aldi and then coulldn’t get my £1 coin out of the trolley and had to call for help from the Manager. Quite a day so far…

Trying to clear up after a damp start
I had to go to West X to chemist and wore a jacket and it was too warm .
Just had a message from daughter and they managed to see Terracotta Warriors . She said there were lots of people there but it was tremendous . There are due home later so I’ll hear all about it
Had a nice meal last night.Had a good catch up with cousin.He left here about 2hours ago.
Going up to my son’s in Berkshire tomorrow.Hoping to leave around 5.30 a.m. to avoid the bank holiday traffic.
The terracotta army must be great to see.Was hoping to see them when they first came to London but it was fully booked.Won’t have a chance to go Liverpool to see them.
Glorious morning. Early drive to Llandod for shopping then back to Coffee Morning in the Church. Just going to get a bit of lunch then awaiting the arrival of grandsons, and we shall all go gardening… (Feeling faint already)
Had a good drive to son’s yesterday morning.Glad I left home early,the traffic was light until Reading.

Strange start to the day . The mist was so thick when I got up I couldn’t even see the garden never mind the sea . Its only just lifted which is good because I’m supposed to go the my daughters for Tylers 16th b/day party I could never have driven in that .Lots of holidaymakers here as well

Cleaned the inside of my car today (not before time). Was wiped out when I finished, so hot! Haven’t done much for the rest of the day apart from sewing. Jamie arrived and mowed the lawn about 6.30 pm while Chris and I watered the seeds we planted yesterday. The family have been off all day at a rugby tournament (only Chris playing 'cos Jamie is still waiting for the assessment of his broken arm).
Lovely sunny morning again.Up at daft o’clock,wanted to take my dog for a walk before it gets too hot and want to start on my son’s ironing.
Had a nice time in Windsor yesterday.Flags everywhere-don’t know if they were for me or for something that’s happening there soon!
Lovely day here and tide is calm and right in . Granddaughter and family are on the way down . I was going to hoover but I think I will leave it lol
I’ve had a horrible toothache all week so an overdue visit to the dentist is on the cards .
