Managed to get Rob out today - first time since Christmas Day! (Combination of bad weather and one week I had an appointment on Wednesday, our usual day out). Hoping that itās going to be fine tomorrow, I have plans to change the bed linenā¦

I hurt my back doing housework yesterday and been in agony all night . Think I pulled my Sciatic nerve . It was so painful but its settling now xx Old age ehhh
Started a journey on the M4 this morning but it so terrible decided to turn off at the first junction I arrived at.Since my friend had that incident I feel nervous driving in such horrible conditions.It might be better tomorrow-who knows!

Needless to say I didnāt change the bed linen! Poured all day. Youngest son came and changed the door handle into Robās room (which has been coming apart in everyoneās handsā¦). Watched the bowls all afternoon and going to watch the box this evening - square eyes.

Iām fed up with this dismal weather but Iāve got a lovely bunch of Daffodils in bloom on a window sill which cheers the room up.

Soggy again this morning, but I stripped the bed anyway! Sun has been out all afternoon and a wonderful clear night tonight. Went with some friends to see āThe Darkest Hourā this evening. Great film, two hours went by like a flash. Coming home there was a wonderful moon up and you could see the plane vapour trails, amazing.
