Over 50's Club Scotland

Hi again, Roxy. You and I most definitely share a love of “vitamin sea”!

My family is doing well, and I am down to three dogs; all were terribly abused but are living the high life now.

I abandoned FB a long time ago - just too busy and concerned about its impact on younger people.

I hope you get a plan quickly and they get on with it. Nothing worse than waiting!

Hey Surfermum, what a lovely surprise…so nice to see You again

Hi, May! How nice! Hope you are getting along well!

Evening. A bit cold here today so winter coat was on. Visited one of my friends and came home to find I’ve no water, the whole place is the same. Rox that picture reminds me of Largs, just sitting watching the world go by. May I cut back rose bushes last week, still have a bit more to do out there. Hi Surfermom, nice to see someone new on here.

Morning, Busy day today. Just leaving for the pool then it’s the Chiropractor as my back, shoulders, and neck feel all knotted up, it’s been a couple of months since I was there so I’m quite looking forward to it. I always come out feeling so much better, then off to The Front for my latte.
Need some bark chips so Dunc’s coming to the Garden Centre with me after lunch.
Jess I’ve never been to Largs but one of these days Regan and I plan to do the whole West Coast it’s so beautiful, also we’re taking the ferry to The Isle of Lewis for a few days, which let’s us spend some time in Ullapool, only been there once to pick my grandchildren up from the ferry. Fabulous wee town.

Morning. Rox that’s the way I feel after a massage, so relaxed I want to have a nap. I’m sure you’d like a visit to Largs and take a ferry ride over to Cumbrae an island about ten minutes from Largs. Water finally came on last night at ten o clock. Not sure what I’m doing today maybe a bit of tidying up the garden.

Good Morning Each,a fine sunny one here so carried on with the pruning/loping…Garden looks a lot bigger now without those giant shrubs, but I have scratches and insect bites on My arms & neck to show for it…never mind…I ordered some goodies with the groceries so I’ll have a party in My mouth and feet up with a book later,
have a good One Lassies.x

Morning, Spent the morning in the hospital getting my 2nd iron infusion, but got a shock on the way home, the dressing got full of blood and started dripping all over the place and the veins all swollen. Just what I needed.

Afternoon. Rox that looks painful, hope your ok.I’m dog sitting today for my niece I’ve already had him out twice. Hairdressers later then a bit of food , then probably another with the dog.

Good grief, Roxy. That looks like painful hematoma, and I’ve been around the block enough to know that was likely caused by a poor needle insertion or removal. Really sorry that happened. The flip side of that is that once that iron kicks in, it will resolve the fatigue.

Take care! :hugs:

Hello, Jess! I missed your message, but thank you kindly. I hope your gardening is going well. It’s still hot as Africa here, and I am just trying to keep the vinca, impatiens, and coleus from withering away. I on the other hand, am a lost cause . Have a good evening!

Good morning. Surfermum, I don’t really do much gardening now I just keep it tidy. Used to love planting impatients for their lovely colours. Going into town later to meet one of my friends for lunch and a few glasses of wine.

Good morning Lassies,a very dull still one here, not a breath of wind,no birds singing in the trees, and not a glimpse of a Neighbour either, just peace and quiet, and that’s what I intend for the weekend,so putting the laptop back in the case for a couple of days, listen to Music, read My book, and watch some old series’ on Netflix,(Fat Friends) & (Starting over) from 20 + years ago,

Jeeze! Rox,looks like a too large blunt needle was used on Your arm, hope it’s ok today,x

See Ye A’ soon,xx

Morning, Very dull here today but it feels humid as well for some reason. Oh Well Scottish Weather, never the same one day to the next.
Arms not had anymore bleeding but it’s now a big bruise with a raised vein in the middle, though I don’t think it’s as big as yesterday.
Nothing on today but meeting friends for dinner this evening. Have a good W/E folks.

Morning, We are back to rain and wind, just what I need. There’s a Surfing competition on today over at the Reef, we were going to wander over for a while but now it will depend on the weather clearing up. I bought diced steak n onions earlier and a pack of button mushrooms, going to do it in the slow cooker and serve with boiled rice for dinner tonight.

I am on my second day of having a cold (first for nigh on a decade) and being a man I am of course laughing in the face of it whilst taking as many known cures for it as can be delivered by Amazon with much speed, and rewriting my will in case I don’t make it out alive.

Mrs Dex intends to make Beef Stroganoff for my last supper today.

In case I’m in the morgue tomorrow, I’ll just mention now that it’s been a pleasure knowing you all….

Whoa am I. The hurly burly is nearly done…

Oh well, it was nice meeting you !

Morning. Sun is shining here at the moment. Going to try and get out and do a bit tidying up in the front garden. Love stroganoff but no idea how to make it.

Nor does Mrs Dex, but I’m too ill to have any sense of taste. My view is that whatever doesn’t make you stronger kills you.

Good Morning Folks,a chilly frosty one here but a promise of sunshine later,

Chicken soup with lots of garlic for that cold of Yours Dex’,and also say a decade of the Rosary…just in case,

Have a good Monday All.x
