Yes, problem is it’s the guy next doors fence. He promised me back in the summer it would be renewed as it was in a terrible state, but he didn’t do it. We are heading down to Perth on Sunday if the roads ok, but I get the feeling I’m going to have to sort this out if it’s to be done.

Hi Rox glad that the only damage was to the fence, hope you manage to get the guy to get the fence fixed pronto. It must be horrible to lose everything you own in the world.Scot glad to hear you escaped the worst of the storm. We had some rain and wind so no real damage, I only went out and got my hair done then home again.

Good morning sunny and dry here this morning, probably cold as I haven’t been out the door yet. Nephew is 18 today and we’re going out for dinner later. Better move and strip my bed and do some ironing.

Evening Jess, Got to my own home and thankfully the only casualty is the fence, what a mess, that pest next door hadn’t even been over and and removed it from my garden, just left it lying all over my lawn for me to deal with. I am not going to say a word to him but I’d dearly like to box his ears.
I’ve phoned a few fencers to get prices from them so hopefully I’ll know what’s happening by the W/E. I am having a 6ft fence between us built and that way I won’t see him if either of us are in the gardens. I can’t believe how angry I still am, I detest people who don’t keep their word.

Hi Rox, glad to hear the only damage was the fence. I had a new fence put up when I moved in. Like you my niece phoned quite a few people to find out their prices. We finally settled on the guy who built here fence. Its great having privacy in your own garden.

Yes I like to be private in my back garden when I’m there. When I moved in 23 years ago I had a 5ft fence all round, but it’s had bits renewed over the last few years thanks to the high winds. This is what I took down and I would have replaced it last summer but himself next door said he would sort things…never did though.

This is what I am going to gave done this time.

Good morning. Rox that looks like the fence I have, I’m really pleased with it. The only thing now is getting someone to paint it. Then I’ll be rady fir next summer. Hairdressers today and food shopping as the freezer is getting a bit low.

I always paint the fences myself, just a bit at a time and it was easily done.
Rain’s been off and on all day so had to wait between showers to walk the hairy one and go to the shop. Apart from that I’ve not done much at all.

Rox I’ve never painted anything in my life. Weather wasn’t to bad here today a bit cold but dry. Had my hair done then did some food shopping. Then shut my eyes for ten minutes when I got home.

Oh that wouldn’t work with me lol. Shutting my eyes for ten minutes would be useless, my minimum is 2 hours. :joy:

Good morning…Ten or fifteen minutes does it for me. Catching up on housework this morning then going to visit my friend later. Then some more food shopping.

Morning, Back to heavy rain again, was dry when I went to the pool and had my latte, started to drizzle when I was out with the dog, then the heavens opened and the pair of us got drenched… Again. :rage:
Was going over to Wick for the big stock up at their Tesco but that can wait till another day.
Have a good visit with your friend.

Good evening. Didn’t visit my friend yesterday went today instead. She doesn’t get out very much these days , we still meet up for lunch for birthdays and Christmas.Didn’t do very much today as I’m trying to finish a baby hat.

Evening, Been another wet day, had my swim and went for my eye test. Hate getting that done as I always end up getting 2 lots of eye drops and my vision goes haywire for ages after.
Just messed about here as it was too wet to be outside, tomorrow’s meant to be the same, gawd this weather is awful.

Morning. I hate getting eyedrops put in for an eyetest. Off to Paris this morning for the weekend looking forward to it.

Goddddd, Will this ruddy rain EVER STOP? :astonished::cry::anguished:.
Have a nice trip Jess, hope it’s not raining there too.

Hi Rox back home again. Unfortuneately we had a few heavy showers, we had to a brolly. Enjoyed the time we spent there but glad to get home again.

Morning Jess, You got back just in time for the next storm to arrive. This is crazy stuff, according to the weatherman up here is to have snow on the mountains in the next 24 hours, well, as long as it stays up there that’s fine.
No pool this morning too much to do here and I’m meeting my girlfriends for lunch.
Have a nice day.
