Reminds me… I must go and deal with that squirrel carcass in my log cabin.
I love the reds we have up in the forest here and I wouldn’t let Dageus chase them. We had both reds and greys down in Perth and the Greys used to tease Dageus and then run up a tree chattering loudly at him while he stood on his hind legs and barked.
He never understood why I wouldn’t let him chase the Reds.
I have to admit … reds are sweeter. They have the cutest ears.
Where we lived (Hertfordshire) we had black squirrels. I haven’t seen those elsewhere.
